of Job Duties:The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking a Graduate Assistant for TRIO/McNair. They will be responsible for managing the data entry of workshops and events maintaining student records scanning and filing documents into student folders and serve as a resource for McNair Scholars. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. The position pays $8000/ year if taking 9 hours per semester (full-time) and $4000 or less/ year if taking less than fulltime hours.


Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled at UA Little Rock and regular admission to Graduate School.

  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA;

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous office/customer service experience;

  • Previous experience with student services;

  • Understanding and commitment to the mission and objectives of McNair.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the data entry of workshops and events;

  • Manage student announcements and alerts;

  • Act as a resource for McNair Scholars;

  • Maintain student records and file documents into student folders;

  • Assist office staff with promoting events and activities;

  • Assist staff with managing student applications and required documents;

  • Other duties as assigned by McNair Director.

  • Experience working in a team environment with a collective focus;

  • Ability to work independently to achieve goals;
