Job Summary
Key Obsessions:
- Equipment Reliability
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on CNC and other manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical electrical and controls system issues quickly and accurately.
- Calibrate and fine-tune machines to maintain peak precision and performance.
- Keep tools parts and work areas organized and ready to support rapid response.
- Facility Performance and Safety
- Maintain and repair facility systems including HVAC plumbing lighting and other building infrastructure.
- Monitor and document facility conditions to ensure a safe efficient and complaint work environment.
- Follow OSHA guidelines and promote a strong safety culture throughout daily practices and collaboration.
- Support facility upgrades and improvements that enhance performance and reliability.
- Continuous Improvement and Maintenance Excellence
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to implement log track and analyze maintenance activities ensuring compliance with standards.
- Identify recurring issues and propose long-term solutions that improve machine uptime and reliability.
- Stay current on new technologies maintenance technologies and equipment advancements to expand skills.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve maintenance processes and overall equipment effectiveness.
Knowledge and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; Technical certification or associates degree preferred
- 3 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance and facility management
- Experience with or ability to learn CMMS software with provided training
- Strong understanding of mechanical electrical and pneumatic systems
- Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. stoop kneel crouch crawl or climb
- Ability to operate or be trained to operate a forklift
- Valid drivers license required
- Ability to obtain a DOT health card
