A key member of the Hospital Executive the Director of Finance is instrumental in managing the performance of the hospitals. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the Commercial Manager the role is a great opportunity for a capable and driven finance leader with a demonstrable track record of success to continue their development and career growth within Healthscope.

About You
This role is well suited to an existing people leader with strong financial management experience who demonstrates excellent relationship building skills across the Healthscope network and beyond. As well as leading a successful team this role will be a match for those who can effectively present business ideas financial data and performance analysis to diverse audiences.
We encourage interested leaders to consider and address the below selection criteria in their application:
Experience in accounting and reporting systems and dashboards
Demonstrated ability to think strategically operationally and conceptually to develop practical innovative solutions to complex multi-faceted problems
Track record of leadership building developing and motivating people and teams
Demonstrated knowledge and ability to analyse complex financial and operational information to create viable solutions
Tertiary qualifications in accounting/commerce/business management and CA/CPA qualification
Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to analyse and present information at leadership level
Experience in ensuring disciplined management of on-going capex requests and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
Effective in building strong relationships including with staff and VMO groups
Proven ability to manage budget performance and deliver business efficiencies
Outstanding written and verbal communication with strong influencing and negotiating skills
