Rotation Schedule: 28 Days On / 28 Days Off
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Offshore Scaffold Builder to join our team for a yearlong offshore addition to scaffold building duties this role will also support painting tasks and serve as firewatch for welders as needed. The ideal candidate is safetyfocused dependable and comfortable working in offshore environments for extended rotations.

This position is responsible for the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Site inspection and layout of areas that require scaffolding.
- Knowledge of OSHA Regulations
- Scaffold safety.
- Knowledge of tube and clamp pin lock cup lock scaffolds construction
- Knowledge of system scaffolds
- Must have own scaffolding tools. Such as ratchets sockets wrenches hammers.
- Proper access and egress requirements and practices
- Working knowledge of rigging hardware and procedures
- The ability to work under extreme weather conditions hot/cold.
- Ability to follow scaffold building instructions that pertain to design location and review scaffolding projects per client and/or project specific demands.
- Ability to communicate effectively with scaffolding crew and other depts. on projects.
- Ability to Acquire and Maintain a government I.D.
- Ability to communicate effectively with production.
Required Education & Experience:
- High School Graduate/Equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 Years Scaffolding/carpentry experience.
- Knowledge of erecting and inspecting scaffolds certified Scaffold Competent person is preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- NCCER Certificate Holder preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Field work in Shop or Shipyard or on field location as required.
- Capable of working at heights and inside confined spaces.
- Open-air conditions such as noisy hot cold etc.
- Must wear hearing eye and head protection.
- Some climbing (100 feet) and lifting (50 lbs.) involved.
- Working with hot and sometimes hazardous materials.
- Traverse gangways and scaffolding at varying heights.
- Confined spaces
Necessary Equipment Operation:
- Working knowledge of Rigging hardware and procedures
Special Skills:
- Ability to work under deadlines and schedule pressures.
- Ability to understand and execute work scope directions from Scaffolding Foreman.
