Job Title: Tandem Developer (ATM Applications)

Location: Berkeley Heights NJ (Onsite)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Tandem Developer with strong expertise in HP NonStop (Tandem) systems and ATM applications development/support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing coding testing and maintaining ATM transaction applications along with a deep understanding of financial services systems payment processing and transaction switching.

Required Skills & Experience:

5 years of experience in Tandem NonStop development (TACL TAL COBOL SCOBOL C or C).
Strong experience with ATM/POS transaction processing systems (e.g. Base24 Connex FIS NCR).
Good knowledge of Enscribe SQL/MP Pathway Guardian OSS.
Familiarity with ISO8583 messaging formats and transaction switching.
Experience with debugging and performance tuning in Tandem environment.
Strong understanding of financial transaction processing EFT and settlement.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Base24 classic/Base24-eps environment.
Exposure to payments domain card networks (Visa/MasterCard) and regulatory compliance.
Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Knowledge of scripting automation and DevOps for Tandem systems.

Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
