AWC Staff Services are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team in Hampton Coal Wharf.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the cost planning budgeting and forecasting across multiple water sector projects
- Manage and administer contracts ensuring compliance and commercial performance
- Oversee change control processes including assessment valuation and agreement of variations
- Prepare and manage interim valuations final accounts and cost reports
- Identify assess and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities
- Provide accurate financial reporting and cash flow projections
- Manage subcontractor procurement payments and performance
- Support project teams with commercial advice and strategy
- Liaise with clients stakeholders and internal teams to ensure transparency and alignment
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the water/utilities sector
- Strong knowledge of contract frameworks (e.g. NEC preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in cost forecasting and change management
- Excellent analytical negotiation and communication skills
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: 500 Per Day Paid Umbrella
