About the role
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our growing team in Goch Germany.
You will be part of a small and entrepreneurial Goch you work closely with two office based colleagues and one Sales colleague who covers the entire German market by visiting customers. Together you form a team of four.
Germany is a key growth market for us. We have strong expansion plans and want to significantly grow the team in the coming years. This means you step in at the right moment. You help build the market and grow alongside the business.
What you will do
You are responsible for the first phase of the sales process. Your activities include:
Proactively reaching out to potential customers via outbound calls and digital channels
Qualifying prospects and identifying commercial opportunities
Scheduling meetings and demos for the Sales team
Building relationships with decision makers and influencers
Managing and following up leads in Salesforce
Collaborating with Marketing on campaigns and lead follow up
Representing ECI at relevant events or trade shows

You are comfortable working independently while staying connected with your team.
What we are looking for
Native level German is required
English at a professional working level able to communicate internally
A proactive and persuasive mindset with a high level of ownership
Confidence in outbound calling and booking meetings experience is a plus
Ability to work with targets and stay focused on results
Interest in software technology and business processes
Affinity with manufacturing or construction is a plus

You will also be part of an international commercial the Netherlands around six Business Development Representatives are active and there is a BDR colleague in the United Kingdom.
Annual trip to the United States to visit our headquarters together with the sales organisation
Annual company events in the Netherlands with your BDR colleagues
Salary and benefits
Permanent contract with a 6 month probation period
Position for 36 to 40 hours per week
Competitive base salary paid in 12 monthly installments
Attractive bonus structure with an on target earning of approximately 30 percent of your base salary or more

30 vacation days per year
Reimbursement of business travel and expense costs
Standard 40 hour workweek based in Goch
Opportunity for mobile working based on agreement
Ideally you live within 50 kilometers of the office. As you will work quite independently living within 100 kilometers is also acceptable. At this stage working from the office is not required on a daily the future this will likely be one to two days per week. You are of course always welcome at the office if you prefer working there more often.
