Overview
We are actively seeking a dedicated and highly skilledInfusion Nurse / Registered Nurse (RN)to join our dynamic healthcare team. This immediate hiring opportunity offers a chance to work in a fast-paced patient-centered environment where your expertise in infusion therapy patient assessment and comprehensive nursing care will make a meaningful difference. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home health care and long-term care environments with open availability to serve clients in theBlufftonandSavannahareas.
Responsibilities
- Administer IV infusions medications and therapies accurately while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs physical examinations and physiological evaluations to determine appropriate care plans.
- Monitor patients responses to treatments managing acute pain and providing timely interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for diverse patient populations including those in hospice memory care or behavioral health settings.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures medication administration and post-care instructions to promote understanding and adherence.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensein the state of practice(South Carolina or Georgia)
- Minimum of1 year of clinical nursing experience(home health experience preferred)
- CurrentCPR/BLS certification
- Current TB test(Negative or Non Reactive)
- Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
- Experience working with diverse patient populations across various settings including emergency room medical-surgical units outpatient clinics or home care environments.
- Proficiency in advanced nursing procedures such as IV insertion medication administration via injection and ventilator management.
- Excellent assessment skills combined with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments like trauma centers or urgent care clinics.
