The Role

Were looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our web team. This role is ideal for someone with solid full stack experience regardless of specific framework background as long as theyre confident working with ReactJS Django and PostgreSQL.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Overjet Voice youll play a key role in building and evolving our AI-powered dental platform. Youll work across the stack helping deliver fast secure and scalable features while improving developer experience and infrastructure along the way.

This role requires someone who can contribute both frontend and backend collaborate well with cross-functional teams and write clean maintainable code that balances speed and quality. Were not looking for experts in a specific framework were looking for engineers who are adaptable resourceful and care about building things right.

Responsibilities

• Design build and maintain scalable full stack features using React Django and PostgreSQL

• Collaborate with product design and QA to deliver features that are thoughtful performant and easy to use

• Write clean testable and well-documented code for both frontend and backend

• Participate in code reviews architecture discussions and sprint planning

• Identify and address performance bottlenecks usability issues and technical debt

• Help maintain and evolve our APIs data models and client-side architecture

• Ensure code aligns with best practices for security accessibility and responsiveness

Qualifications

• 610 years of experience as a full stack engineer or similar role

• Comfortable working with (or transitioning into) ReactJS Django and PostgreSQL

• Strong understanding of API design database performance and component-based UI development

• Clear and concise communication in English especially in a remote team setup

• Nice to have:

  • Background in healthcare dental or other regulated industries

  • Familiarity with HIPAA GDPR or other data privacy and compliance standards

  • Experience with authentication flows user permission management or third-party integrations

  • Familiarity with accessibility standards performance optimization or data-heavy UI

  • Exposure to AI-based or data-driven products

  • Experience mentoring or leading other engineers

Many of our positions are based in San Mateo New York City Boston Salt Lake City and Lahore. The Jetsetters who live in these geo-hubs come to the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays while having the option to work from home the rest of the week.
