Job Description
As a Security Officer Credential Driver in Delray Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a government location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials manage visitor access and support daily security-related operations. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors employees and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures identification checks and other security-related policies at a government location.
- Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials issue visitor access as directed and/or maintain accurate logs of arrivals departures and denied access activity.
- Respond to incidents suspicious activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting security-related concerns.
- Assist with screening people property and/or vehicles entering restricted or controlled areas in accordance with post orders and government location requirements.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity access issues and/or conditions that may require a security-related response.
Minimum Requirements:
- Three or more years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Be 21 years of age or older.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Guard card is required.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
