Job Summary

We are looking for an Assembler to join our Greenwood IN facility on a 2nd shift schedule. You will assemble and inspect products prior to delivery. If you are interested please apply in person or via email to Youll Do:Assembles assigned product parts on assembly line in accordance with established procedures standards and blueprint productionFastens parts together with bolts screws speed clips rivets or other fastenersDisassembles re-works or salvages scrap partsOperates drill presses hand drills clicker press or riveting machines to assist in assembly operationMay operate forklift upon completing certification requirementsPerforms spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards; Removes small quantities of metal to produce a smooth finishInspects product for quality defects including but not limited to: missing brackets damaged brackets incorrect artwork screw gauges Youll Need:High School diploma or equivalent1-3 months related experience and/or trainingAbility to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram formMathematical skills to manage units of measure fractions decimals whole to read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets to determine set-up and operations to be formedAbility to set-up and operate a Rivet Machine; input and maintain data in Traverse Manufacturing to lift up to 50 pounds
