Job Summary
Primary Purpose Of Position
Work as Laboratory Research Technician. Culture microbial cultures in the lab extract and process DNA samples produce substrate for mushroom cultivation and work with PI and Research Specialist on truffle cultivation plots at the farm.
Duties
Maintain inventory for the lab culture collection maintenance ordering and staying in contact with vendors farmers and clients of the lab. Help with laboratory training for students.
Preferred Years Experience Skills Training Education
High School diploma with minimum of 4-5 years experiences working as microbiology/mycology lab technician. OR Associates Degree (2 years) in Biological Sciences or related fields. Experience with microscopy and identification of fungi is a plus.
