Control Room Supervisor Physical Security & Access Control Data Center Rangers Battistolli Liscate(MI)
Rangers Battistolli is seeking a Control Room Supervisor to be assigned to a major multinational company operating in the IT sector within a data center environment.
The Control Room Supervisor is responsible for the operational supervision of the assigned shift within the data center control room. The role involves coordinating security personnel managing access control activities supporting loss prevention and incident management and ensuring full compliance with security procedures and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise physical security operations during the assigned shift.
- Monitor video surveillance systems and manage temporary access badges.
- Manage access authorizations and maintain records and reports in accordance with operational procedures.
- Coordinate assign and provide operational support to security personnel.
- Review and approve end-of-shift reports.
- Manage shift handovers and communicate relevant incidents.
- Identify and report critical issues or procedural violations.
- Propose improvements to security processes and programs.
- Support internal audits and unannounced inspections.
- Perform additional tasks as required by the Site Security Manager.
Requisiti
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience in the security field or in related roles.
- Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).
- Strong computer skills.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening (background checks).
- Legal eligibility to work.
- Availability to work on shifts.

Physical and Environmental Working Conditions
The role is performed within an operational data center a structured and high-security environment. Employees must be able to work under the following conditions:
- Prolonged standing and frequent movement during shifts.
- Walking patrolling and remaining on duty for extended periods in both indoor and outdoor areas of the site.
- Ability to bend kneel stretch and use security equipment.
- Continuous use of electronic devices (computers monitoring systems metal detectors).
- Work in climate-controlled environments with possible temperature variations between operational areas.
- Exposure to background noise generated by technical equipment (within safety standards).
- Requirement to maintain a high level of concentration and attention to detail for extended periods.
- Professional and controlled handling of stressful situations emergencies or unexpected events.
- Frequent interaction with internal staff vendors and visitors.
- Availability to work shifts including nights weekends and holidays based on operational needs.
All duties require strict compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and the proper use of any required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Required Skills:
REQUIREMENTS Minimum Requirements for Employment: Minimum age of 18 years. Italian citizenship or citizenship of an EU member country. No criminal convictions or pending legal proceedings. Valid driving license. Valid Armed Security Guard license (or strong motivation to obtain it). Excellent knowledge of English (reading writing speaking). Excellent knowledge of computer tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Reliable communication devices. Possession of a personal means of transportation. Availability to participate in the companys pre-employment screening process including drug testing and background checks. Education/Experience: Previous work experience in security public services (police firefighters) or military background is preferred. Skills (demonstrated through experience training and/or testing): Ability to meet and maintain all applicable state provincial and municipal licensing requirements for security officers. Knowledge of basic security and fire control procedures. Verbal and written communication skills. Ability to observe situations and make decisions. Ability to meet and maintain required skills certifications or authorizations for assigned accounts. Knowledge of security operations and procedures. Ability to learn to operate a variety of security and protective devices. Ability to follow and maintain scheduled assignments. Ability to maintain professional composure in unusual situations. WORKING CONDITIONS Physical and mental ability to perform all essential functions effectively is required.
