About the School
St Catherines is an outstanding warm and friendly Barnet primary and nursery school with a strong caring ethos. We are seeking a professional organised and friendly Office Administrator to join our busy and welcoming school office. As the first point of contact for parents visitors and the wider community you will play a key role in ensuring our school office operates smoothly and efficiently.
About the candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Has significant office administration experience ideally in a school setting
Is confident using Microsoft Office MIS systems and other digital tools
Communicates clearly and professionally and builds positive relationships with families and staff
Can multitask stay calm under pressure and prioritise their workload effectively
Understands confidentiality safeguarding and data protection responsibilities
Is organised proactive and committed to delivering exceptional customer service
A First Aid qualification is desirable but not essential.

Provide a warm professional front-of-house service to pupils parents staff and visitors
Manage day to day communications including phone email and app enquiries
Maintain accurate school information systems and adhere to GDPR and safeguarding procedures
Oversee ParentPay administration after school club bookings and event management systems
Support senior leaders with correspondence reports and general administration
Assist with school trips administration Parent Governor elections and record keeping
