Job Description
As a Security Officer Hospital Clinical in Culver City CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and support patients visitors and staff with outstanding customer service and our agile reliable and innovative team you will put people first work with integrity and contribute through teamwork every day.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas entry points and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity helping to verify authorized entry provide directions and support order within waiting areas lobbies and other public-facing spaces.
- Assist with security-related requests from hospital personnel including escort support de-escalation assistance and response to calls for service while maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- At least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
