Overview:Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) . Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission values and Mercy Service Standards.

1-2 years LPN experience Sign On Bonus $5000
3-4 years LPN experience Sign On Bonus $7000
5 years LPN experience Sign On Bonus $10000

Weekend Differential
Shift Differential for qualifying hours between 3pm-7am
Weekend Option Days: WEO rates weekend differential

Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
Experience: Can be new or experienced LPN
Certifications:
oMust be LPN-IV Certification issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
o Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
3C is a Surgical Unit which focuses on adult post-operative orthopedic traumas and Neurosurgery. Here you will develop excellent critical thinking and assessment skills as well as use a wide variety of clinical skills.
