About the role
We are looking for an employee that oversees and manages installations various inspections maintenance including housekeeping and repairs for all Physicians East Facilities HVAC systems fire and security systems plumbing wayfinding electrical or carpentry applications.
Supervision Received:Reports to Chief Operations Officer.
Supervision Exercised:Maintenance and Custodial Departments
Typical Physical Demands:Work requires lifting and moving of heavy items exposure to heights crawl spaces electrical wiring and plumbing.
Typical Working Conditions:
Normal office environment with some exposure to adverse weather conditions or before and after normal operating hours. Travel between Physicians East facilities using a company or personal vehicle is required.
Responsibilities
Routine Maintenance: Coordinate routine maintenance tasks including repairs inspections and preventive maintenance for buildings equipment and grounds.
Special Projects: Obtain quotes organize vendors oversee projects ensure operational efficiencies across all departments.
Custodial Services: Manage custodial services ensuring cleanliness to meet health and safety standards.
Groundskeeping: Oversees landscaping outdoor maintenance and groundskeeping activities.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations fire codes and healthcare regulatory requirements.
Vendor Management: Work with subcontractors and vendors to monitor project activities and maintain compliance.
Staff Supervision: Manage service technicians and custodial staff assign work schedules and ensure quality assurance.
Emergency Services: Available 24/7 for emergency situations.
Management Duties: Approve invoices on quoted work evaluate maintenance contracts and ensure contracts are relevant and services are carried out validate expenses for facility and ground services and identify cost savings opportunities.
Location & commitments
Permanent full-time role based at our Greenville Arlington Blvd. location Monday-Friday 8a.m. 5 p.m.
Evening and weekend work may be required to ensure patients are taken care of tasks are completed and calls are returned in a timely manner.

Candidate requirements
Project management experience required.
Valid North Carolina Drivers License and clean driving record required.
General knowledge and experience working with computers electrical plumbing and carpentry.
Knowledge and experience with commercial HVAC systems boilers chillers and generators
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and maintenance contracts.
Must comprehend and comply with HIPPA OHSA and other local state and federal rules and guidelines pertaining to the operation of medical facilities.
Must be available to take after-hour calls for security fire systems emergency and required maintenance that may need to be done before or after normal operating hours.
