POSITION SUMMARY:
The Courtesy Van driver is an experienced professional prepared to work with staff and volunteers to promote a quality transportation program for Southwest General. The driver transports customers to and from SWG and off site campuses from our taxing district (service areas). Operates the handicapped wheelchair van safely providing excellent customer service securing it properly with each use. Assists office with client intakes scheduling and record keeping.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:High school diploma or GED required.
Required length of experience:
- Two (2) years of work experience in hospitals or healthcare preferred but not required.
- Prior experience with volunteers is helpful.
- Clear written and verbal skills critical thinking skills and customer service skills are all essential to success in this role.
- Looking for a team player that is willing to be flexible with schedules to meet department and organizational needs.
Required licensure certification or registry:Valid drivers license and insurance (while driving vans covered under hospital insurance) required with minimal driving infractions.
