Job Summary
Job Title: Garment Merchandiser
Location: Kampongspeu Cambodia
Department: Production Department
Reports to: Production Manager General Manager
Salary: $600 - $800
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Garment Merchandiser to manage the end-to-end merchandising process from sampling through production to final delivery. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of garment manufacturing garment technical terminologies and client requirements to ensure that product lines are delivered on time and to high-quality standards. This role involves close coordination with production team QC/QA team and other stakeholders to achieve successful production and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Digesting and coordinating customer requirements to the production team.
- Following production process from sampling to shipment.
- Maintaining a clear concise and reliable production planning sheet in order to follow each stage of production.
- Preparing order sheets for materials (packaging materials etc).
- Placing orders for trims to be used in production.
- Following closely material in-housing and coordinating with China and Hong Kong team for follow ups.
- Working closely with China and Hong Kong merchandisers throughout the progress of the sampling and production.
- Advising and assisting production and quality department.
- Going through quality inspections together with in-house or third party QA/QC teams.
- Preparing shipping details such as stickers packing lists and others as necessary.
- Creating a merchandisers summary for every completed order.
Requirements:
- 3 years work experience in garment factory merchandising.
- Excellent proficiency in Chinese
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent knowledge of various software including word processing spreadsheets and presentation software.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Discretion and confidentiality
- Hard working and is willing to learn
- Experience in sweater industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in English is a plus.
