As a Project Manager II - Client Tax Operations within within JPMorgan Chase you will support the delivery of regulatory and strategic tax programs. You will help translate complex tax rules into actionable project plans modernize processes and controls and ensure accurate tax withholding documentation and reporting. You will collaborate across teams manage project details and drive results in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end delivery of tax operations initiatives including scoping planning budgeting and governance to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans tracking milestones dependencies resources and budgets and update RAID logs (Risks Actions Issues Dependencies) and delivery metrics to keep execution on track.
- Facilitate project working group meetings by preparing agendas capturing decisions documenting action items and owners and tracking progress and risks.
- Design and implement target operating models and process improvements embedding controls service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Monitor risks issues and dependencies enforce change control and maintain audit and compliance evidence.
- Support stakeholder communications and change management efforts including preparing status reports and helping develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Accounting or a related field.
- Four years of experience in project management within the financial services industry with exposure to tax operations preferred.
- Familiarity with US Tax Withholding & Reporting Requirements (such as FATCA NRA BackupS) is a plus.
- Demonstrate ability to support complex business solutions and manage multiple priorities.
- Solid understanding of tax operations regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
- Ability to think methodically and drive results in a fast-paced evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MBA or similar)
- Experience with process re-engineering change management or audit readiness is desirable.
