Job Summary
Provides personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and /or Administrator. Responsible for daily operations of laboratory equipment including phlebotomy and obtaining plain film X-rays.
Responsibilities
- Performs direct patient care duties as assigned.
- Triage and rooming of patients
- Provides for patient safety.
- Possesses the ability to perform day to day clerical task and related duties.
- Participates in ongoing educational activities.
- Completes assigned goals.
Specifications
Experience
Minimum Required
- Approved nursing or medical assistant course.
Preferred/Desired
- Minimum of one year experience.
Education
Minimum Required
- Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.

- Approved nursing or medical assistant course

Minimum Required
- Computer literacy. Maintain Certification
- Limited X-ray Operator Licensure or obtain within 6 months of hire

- Certified by the a National Certification Board (National Center for Competency Testing or obtain withing 6 months of hire date.
Minimum Required
- Certified by the a National Certification Board (National Center for Competency Testing) or obtain within 6 months of hire date. BLS certification within 14 days of hire date
