Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO)
Location: Oklahoma City OK
Hours: 10:30am-9pm; variable hours (4-10 hour shifts) rotating weekends and holidays
Essential Functions:
- Report to work on time and prepared for each scheduled shift
- Perform all assigned duties and processes including tasks for which you are fully qualified and those within your demonstrated capabilities
- Maintain a positive professional and supportive attitude throughout the workday
- Work collaboratively as a team member and contribute to a respectful productive work environment
Responsibilities
Data entry and answering phones. Process specimens for laboratory analysis. Process specimens for laboratory specimens for microbiology testing. May perform initial phases of testing. Works alongside technologists assisting produce patient results. Sorting incoming specimens prioritizing and immediately processing STAT and other critical be able to work in two computer systems proficiently.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge: Must have good computer skills. Demonstrate manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Required Experience: High School Diploma or higher Lab experience is desired.
Special Requirements: Must have the ability to maintain a professional attitude at all times. Must be available for scheduled vacation and emergency coverage as needed. Must be available to rotate weekend shifts.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Position requires data background with abilities to enter 6000 alphanumeric keystrokes/hour
- Works in a biohazard environment practicing good safetyhabits
- Able to sit or stand for longperiods
- Handles multiple tasks simultaneously and works in a productionenvironment
