Job Summary
We are looking for a DeltaV Support Engineer to provide on-site and remote support for Emerson DeltaV DCS systems in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role focuses on system support troubleshooting change management and lifecycle support while ensuring compliance with GMP GxP and data integrity standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 support for Emerson DeltaV DCS in live pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system batch alarms and interface issues with minimal production impact
- Support DeltaV Batch (ISA88) configuration including CMs EMs phases recipes and graphics
- Perform and support change control activities in compliance with GMP / GDP procedures
- Participate in incident management root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Support system upgrades patches backups and disaster recovery activities
- Assist during FAT SAT IQ OQ PQ and site readiness activities when required
- Maintain and update technical documentation SOPs and validation records
- Coordinate with process validation IT and quality teams to ensure compliant operations
- Provide on-call / shift support as per site requirements
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS (v9.x v14.x preferred)
- Strong knowledge of DeltaV Batch ISA88 / ISA95 standards
- Experience supporting live GMP manufacturing systems
- Understanding of alarm management (ISA18.1) and change management workflows
- Knowledge of OPC interfaces historians (OSI PI preferred)
- Familiarity with CSV / CQV lifecycle and regulated documentation
