Volunteer Role Overview
We are currently seeking dedicated volunteers who are enthusiastic about working with youth and contributing to a positive Club experience. Volunteers will work alongside our professional staff to support the daily operations of our programs and ensure a safe engaging and respectful environment for all members.
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Assist with youth redirection and de-escalation when necessary using positive behavior strategies
- Support or lead lesson plans and structured group activities including educational recreational and enrichment programming
- Assist in understanding implementing or supporting accommodations outlined in 504 Plans or IEPs under staff guidance
- Help staff maintain a safe welcoming and inclusive space for all members
- Engage with youth to build rapport and model positive behaviors
- Contribute to activity prep material setup and classroom/area cleanup
- Supervise and interact with members during free play transitions or structured times
- Participate in staff briefings or trainings as needed
- Be adaptable and ready to step in wherever help is needed during Club hours

Requirements
- Availability during Club hours (schedules can be flexible based on your availability)
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role (standing walking light lifting etc.)
- First Aid AED or BLS/CPR certification is beneficial
- Volunteers with experience in education mental health youth development or recreation are highly encouraged
