Position: Medical Records Clerk Full-Time
Responsibilities:
Position: Medical Records Clerk Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Scans and/or uploads paper and electronic documents and completes medical records requests.
- Responsible for collecting information related to patient treatment to complete requests for Medical Records.
- Track electronically and complete the medical record request processes.
- Ensure that the medical records are organized accurate and complete
- Safeguarding patient records and ensuring compliance with all legal and HIPAA and HITECH standards
- Prepare and status of medical record invoices
- Tracking in house patient records and Plan of Care compliance
- Performs various projects and clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in medical billing/medical records preferred but not required.
