We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Loan Processor to join our branch this role you will be the engine of the lending process ensuring that loan files are accurate compliant and moving swiftly toward closing. You will serve as a vital link between Loan Officers borrowers and underwriters providing the high-level organization and white-glove customer service that defines our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Pipeline Management: Prioritize and manage your workflow to ensure all loans meet critical deadlines and close on time.
File Preparation & Review: Compile and evaluate financial data for loan files; review applications for reasonableness and completeness before submission to Underwriting.
Documentation Oversight: Order and track essential third-party documents including appraisals VOEs and VODs.
Proactive Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for borrowers and Loan Officers to gather missing info and provide status updates.
Condition Clearing: Work closely with stakeholders to obtain the documentation needed to clear trailing conditions.
Vendor Relations: Coordinate effectively with title companies appraisers and other third-party vendors.
Closing & Compliance: Submit approved files to the Closing department and ensure all approval/denial letters are sent in compliance with regulations.
Data Integrity: Maintain accurate records of loan statuses including applications approvals and cancellations.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1 years of proven experience in the mortgage industry.
Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of Conventional and Government loan requirements.
Regulatory Expertise: Strong working knowledge of state and federal real estate lending regulations.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in loan processing software and digital document management systems.
Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex requirements clearly and direct clients to licensed team members for specialized guidance when needed.
