Hardware development: digital design and verification including schematics and layout. Join our team as a Digital Hardware Engineer!
Job Description
What you will do
- Design computer technology instrumentation communications devices semiconductor devices solid state devices and other electronic systems using an understanding of circuit theory and electrical or electronic engineering.
- Design test systems for components and devices designed using electronic engineering techniques.
- Collaborate with line engineers in other disciplines either on product design or manufacturing of electronic components.
Basic Requirements
Education
Degree: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
Technical Skills
- Circuit Design: Extensive experience in the planning design and development of electronic circuits (Analog Digital and Mixed-Signal).
- PCB Design: Proficiency in schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout using tools like Altium Designer Cadence OrCAD or Mentor Graphics.
- Simulation: Experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g. PSPICE LTspice MATLAB/Simulink).
- Embedded Systems: Knowledge of microcontrollers and standard communication protocols (I2C SPI UART USB PCIe).
Hands-on & Lab Work
- Testing & Debugging: Hands-on experience with board bring-up troubleshooting and using lab equipment (Oscilloscopes Spectrum Analyzers Logic Analyzers).
- Power Management: Experience with power supply design (DC-DC converters LDOs).
Documentation & Standards
- Standards: Familiarity with industry standards (EMI/EMC compliance safety standards).
- Documentation: Ability to create clear technical documentation BOMs and manufacturing files.
