The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate internal equity and organizational needs.

Position Summary
Provides supervision of the daily operations of departments requiring nursing expertise assuring goals are obtained through planning implementing and directing programs procedures systems and support personnel. Direct supervision of support staff and RN up to 15 FTEs. This position is based in Minneapolis and St. Paul with the primary campuses serving as the main locations and may require floating to other sites. This is a working supervisor role that includes 3040% clinical care.
- FMLA paperwork
- Support for Neurosurgery and subspecialty programs including Spina Bifida Plastics and Down Syndrome
- Supervision of 1 RN and 2 MAs including annual reviews and one-on-one meetings
- Creation of processes and workflows
- Work and school notes
- Care coordination for complex patients (transport needs referrals to other specialties/rehab/Birth to Three sedation scheduling TBI/trauma follow-ups)
- Scheduling peer-to-peer reviews
- Working on prior authorizations when denied
- Triage calls
- Wound care and staple/suture removal (specifically post-op angiogram incision checks for NIR)
- Discharge follow-up including scheduling and post-discharge check-ins with families
- Education and health literacy support
