What you will do
The Sprinkler Service Supervisor is responsible for the coordination execution safety financial performance and growth of the Sprinkler Service Department within an assigned territory. This role provides leadership to technicians and support staff while ensuring customer satisfaction revenue growth safety compliance and highquality service delivery of waterbased fire protection systems.
How you will do it
Financial & Revenue Responsibility
Manage the Sprinkler Department to an approved financial plan including operating expenses labor inventory capital and accounts receivable/collections
Own departmental P&L with responsibility for revenue growth margin performance and profitability
Implement plans programs and processes to meet or exceed corporate goals and maximize market potential across all service segments
Drive new service bookings and expansion of existing customer accounts
Customer Satisfaction & Service Delivery
Maintain strong customer relationships from initial engagement through service execution and contract fulfillment
Ensure service commitments and contractual obligations are consistently met
Resolve customer concerns related to service quality scheduling billing and collections in a timely manner
Communicate effectively with customers internal teams and leadership to ensure satisfaction and retention
Leadership Staffing & Employee Development
Hire train organize and develop technicians and support staff into a highperforming cohesive team
Establish fair technician territories and workloads to optimize productivity and service response
Set performance expectations monitor results and coach employees to meet or exceed objectives
Identify training needs in technical skills sales awareness customer service and product knowledge
Participate in technician ridealongs to evaluate safety compliance productivity performance and technical capability
Maintain open communication across departments to foster teamwork morale and accountability
Ensure all employees understand and comply with company policies and procedures
Safety & Compliance
Enforce all Johnson Controls corporate safety programs and EH&S policies
Ensure safety training is thorough current and documented for all employees
Conduct workplace accident investigations and corrective actions as required
Identify safety hazards and coordinate corrective measures with the corporate safety team
Promote a culture of safety accountability and risk awareness
Technical & Operational Oversight (as needed)
Support servicing and troubleshooting of wet dry preaction sprinkler systems fire pumps backflows and related waterbased fire protection systems
Review and interpret complex construction blueprints diagrams and specifications
Oversee repair work and internal inspections to ensure quality and compliance
Provide technical guidance to technicians when required
Administrative & Operational Expectations
Proficiency with computers and mobile technology including Word Excel Outlook CRM systems and iPhone applications
Review and approve time reports service documentation and operational reports
Communicate schedule changes discrepancies or coordination issues to dispatch and management
Maintain safe clean and organized work areas
Ensure proper use storage and security of tools vehicles and equipment
Availability to work alternate shifts weekends and rotational oncall coverage as required
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Fire Service Manager
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 60 pounds
Ability to climb ladders scaffolding and operate lifts up to 40 feet or higher
Required use of PPE including hard hat/bump cap safety glasses gloves face mask and safetytoed boots
Compliance with all job site safety and housekeeping standards
What we look for
Required
Minimum 7 years experience with waterbased fire sprinkler systems (wet dry preaction hydrants backflows)
Minimum 3 to 5 years supervisory or management experience with revenue and margin responsibility
NICET Level II in WaterBased Systems (or higher)
Strong leadership organizational and teambuilding skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to multitask prioritize and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
Customerfocused mindset with experience in highvolume service environments
Actionoriented accountable punctual and detailoriented
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred
Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
Additional NICET certifications (Fire Alarm or Special Hazards)
Experience managing large service territories or highrevenue departments
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $76000 to $105000 (Salary to be determined by the education experience
knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market
data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual group
