As a Security Officer Armed Campus Driver in Pharr TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures monitoring access points and/or supporting emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while maintaining a visible armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store parking areas perimeter and/or receiving zones to help identify unusual activity and help to deter theft trespassing and other security-related concerns.
- Observe and document security-related incidents suspicious behavior hazards and/or policy violations then communicate relevant information to supervisors local management and/or law enforcement when appropriate.
- Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by monitoring high-traffic areas assisting with de-escalation during customer or employee conflicts and following reporting procedures for incidents involving merchandise cash handling areas and/or restricted spaces.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
