Responsibilities
Join our dedicated team at Fresno Heart and Surgical Hospital where we provide exceptional care for patients with cardiac conditions. Our ambulatory center specializes in comprehensive treatment and we are looking for a skilled Cardiac Treatment Center Nurse to support our mission.
As a Cardiac Treatment Center Nurse you will work collaboratively with a team of 12 nurses providing vital support for various procedures including procedural sedation transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) cardioversions and tilt table studies. Collaborating with cardiologist bariatric and cardiac surgeons to develop and implement patient care plans. You will play a crucial role in the care of patients with congestive heart failure those utilizing ventricular assist devices (VAD) and individuals undergoing bariatric evaluations and post-operative cardiac surgery. Qualifications
- Graduate of approved nursing program required
- Experience in cardiac nursing or related field preferred
- RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
- ACLS - Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon entry or transfer into job
