Job Summary
Plumbing Technician - Water Hygiene
Location: Newcastle
Hours: Full-Time 40 hours/week
Contract: Permanent
Pay: 12.3115.70 per hour (depending on experience & qualifications)
About the Role
HSL Compliance is looking for practical hands-on Remedial Technicians to join our team. Youll carry out plumbing and water hygiene work to help clients stay compliant with safety regulations. Tasks include tank cleans TMV servicing basic plumbing flushing and disinfection.
This is a full-time permanent field-based role with travel across your local area. Youll report to an Account Manager and work closely with our technical and compliance teams. We provide full training equipment and support to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Perform remedial plumbing and water hygiene tasks to ensure compliance
Install and maintain pipework tanks valves and fittings
Carry out temperature checks water sampling flushing and descaling
Support risk assessments and apply control measures
Maintain accurate records and reports
Communicate with clients and colleagues clearly
Follow all health & safety procedures
Skills & Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
Legionella Awareness (ACoP L8 & HSG274 compliance)
Water Hygiene training (disinfection and risk assessment)
Health & Safety training (COSHH manual handling working at heights)
