We are seeking an analytically minded and engaging Maths Teacher to join a thriving Mathematics department in the London Borough of Redbridge. The Role
As a Maths Teacher you will deliver a rigorous and engaging curriculum across KS3 and KS4. You will join a department that values mathematical fluency and functional application with the potential to lead A-Level Mathematics or Further Mathematics for a candidate with strong subject specialism.
Key Responsibilities:
Conceptual Clarity: Teaching core pillars of mathematics including Algebra Geometry Ratio and Probability with a focus on deep understanding rather than rote learning.
Problem-Solving Leadership: Developing students ability to break down multi-step worded problems and apply mathematical reasoning to real-world scenarios.
Exam Strategy: Preparing students for Edexcel or AQA GCSE Mathematics focusing on high-level AO2 and AO3 marks (Reasoning and Problem Solving).
Data-Informed Teaching: Using regular low-stakes testing and diagnostic tools to identify gaps in knowledge and provide targeted intervention.
