The Role
As a Science Teacher you will deliver high-quality practical-led lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will join a department that prioritizes inquiry-based learning and scientific literacy with the opportunity to teach A-Level in your specialism (Biology Chemistry or Physics) for a candidate with strong subject mastery.
Key Responsibilities:
Practical Learning: Designing and supervising safe engaging experimentsfrom chemical titrations to electrical circuit testing.
Curriculum Delivery: Teaching a broad and balanced Science curriculum covering everything from cellular biology to the laws of thermodynamics.
Exam Preparation: Providing expert guidance and targeted intervention for GCSE Triple and Combined Science cohorts (AQA/Edexcel).
STEM Advocacy: Promoting Science beyond the classroom through after-school clubs CREST awards and local industry partnerships.

About You
We are looking for a scientist who is as comfortable with a Bunsen burner as they are with a data-driven progress report.
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a relevant degree in a Science subject.
Has a strong understanding of the current GCSE Science specifications and assessment objectives.
Possesses excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to rigorous Health & Safety standards.
Is an effective communicator who can simplify abstract concepts for students of all abilities.
