We are seeking a versatile Design & Technology Teacher to join a well-resourced and forward-thinking department in Telford. Core Responsibilities
Instructional Excellence: Planning and delivering high-quality practical and theoretical lessons across KS3 & KS4 covering a broad range of material areas (Timbers Polymers Metals or Textiles).
Technical Mastery: Introducing students to modern manufacturing techniques including CAD/CAM 3D printing and laser cutting alongside traditional hand-tool skills.
Curriculum Innovation: Developing project-based learning units that solve real-world problems from sustainable product design to mechanical systems.
Health & Safety Leadership: Maintaining a safe and rigorous workshop environment ensuring all machinery is used correctly and Risk Assessments are strictly followed.
Exam Preparation: Guiding students through the GCSE Design & Technology (AQA/Eduqas) and/or Level 2 Technical Awards with a focus on high-quality Non-Examined Assessment (NEA) portfolios.
