Job Summary
At Cirql One we are building the foundational layer that connects enterprise data to AI: a layer that doesnt just relay information but genuinely understands it making business meaning explicit trusted and actionable at scale.
The problem were solving is deceptively hard. SAP runs the core operations of more than 90% of Fortune 500 companies. The data is reliable. The meaning however is buried inside 30 years of configurations customizations and undocumented logic that no AI system can interpret on its own. Weve spent decades inside these environments. Cirql One is that missing link: an enterprise semantic intelligence layer that gives AI models and agents a shared business-accurate understanding of enterprise data. For a talented driven and collaborative designer working at Cirql One is an opportunity to define how enterprise intelligence becomes legible shaping the interfaces through which humans and AI navigate business meaning together from the ground floor with a team that takes both craft and mission seriously. Tasks
- Own the UI layer. Define how semantic models metrics governance rules and data lineage are represented versioned and navigated in the platform.
- Translate complexity. Turn ambiguous requirements into scalable interaction patterns that work for data engineers and business stakeholders alike.
- Ship end-to-end. Work directly with engineering and product from early concept to shipped product. No handoffs.
- Design for AI. Build interfaces where humans and AI think together: natural language exploration structured reasoning governed outputs.
- Research and synthesise. Conduct user research and usability testing with enterprise customers; translate findings into design decisions with clear rationale.
- Defend your decisions. Articulate design rationale confidently across technical and non-technical contexts: founders engineers and customers.
Requirements
- Enterprise design depth. 7 years of product design experience including 4 years on complex B2B software: data platforms developer tools or analytics applications.
- Systems thinker. Able to design coherent patterns at scale hold a large design vision and break it into shippable pieces without losing the thread.
- Strong portfolio. End-to-end process from research and problem framing to interaction design and high-fidelity execution on genuinely hard problems.
- AI-first by default. Fluent in Claude Code and agentic design workflows; experienced building interfaces where humans and AI collaborate on complex tasks.
- Collaborative partner. Direct track record of working with engineering through the build cycle not as a handoff and making the people around you better.
- Clear communicator. Articulates design rationale precisely to engineers and non-technical stakeholders; invites feedback and adapts without losing direction.
Strong plus:
- Background in data visualisation dashboard design or developer-facing tools.
- Experience designing natural language or AI-assisted interfaces.
