About the job
Based in Brussels Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATOs Digital Endeavour. You will be responsible for for managing conduct capability grievance and disciplinary matters as well as driving proactive initiatives to prevent ER matters from escalating. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining ER owned HR People Policies and supporting documentation making recommendations on changes to HR Policies to meet best practice align to NCPRs and industry practice or support the Agencys business strategy.

About you
Were looking for a talented and knowledgeable Emplyoee Relations professional with ideally a Bachelors degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience.
A different qualification coupled with particularly relevant experience may also be considered.
- Extensive hands on experience of managing Employee Relations;
- A proven track record of designing and delivering a range of initiatives including those related to HR projects HR policy HR practices and HR related business initiatives;
- Strategic and operational HR expertise in developing and implementing employment policy;
- Experience of working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels;
- Excellent demonstrable analytical organisational and influencing skills.
- Demonstrable experience and skills in de-escalation techniques and structured mediation
- Demonstrable experience and strong verbal skills for difficult conversations
Knowledge of English both written and spoken is essential and some knowledge of French is desirable.
Competencies
The NCI Agency is looking for individuals have tangible experience and knowledge in the following areas:
-A thorough knowledge of one of the two NATO languages both written and spoken is essential and some knowledge of the other is desirable;
-NOTE: Most of the work of the NCIA is conducted in the English language.
