Job Title: Golf Course Advisor
Location: Kissimmee FL
FLSA Status: Hourly Non-exempt
The Golf Course Advisor is a guest-facing role responsible for enhancing the on-course experience by providing guidance support and course knowledge to players. This position helps ensure smooth pace of play assists with navigation and course strategy and delivers exceptional service throughout the round.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide on-course assistance and guidance to golfers during play.
- Offer advice on course layout yardage hazards and general playing strategy when appropriate.
- Monitor and help maintain proper pace of play across the course.
- Communicate with starters and golf operations staff regarding course flow and conditions.
- Assist players with locating balls understanding course rules and navigating the course.
- Address guest questions concerns and minor issues in a professional manner.
- Report on course conditions maintenance needs or safety concerns to management.
- Support tournaments outings and special events by assisting golfers on course.
- Promote a welcoming high-end guest experience consistent with Reunion Resort standards.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Experience in a resort or high-end club environment.
- Prior experience in golf operations caddying or customer service preferred.
- Strong knowledge of golf rules etiquette and course play.
- Familiarity with course layout and yardage (or ability to learn quickly).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong situational awareness and problem-solving ability.
- Professional and friendly demeanor with a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to remain calm and helpful in busy or high-pressure situations
- Must be able to lift push carry and pull at least 50lbs.
- English language proficiency is required to perform the essential functions of this position.
- Primarily outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- Requires walking or driving a golf cart for extended periods.
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
