Role: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) (It is NOT a DevOps or CI/CD role)
Location: San Francisco CA - (Onsite)
Duration: Full-Time

Job Description

What Success Looks Like

  • Personally debugging and fixing live production issues
  • Resolving memory leaks latency regressions and system level failures
  • Working directly with enterprise customers under real pressure
  • Preventing future incidents through deep systems understanding

Must Have Experience (Non Negotiable)

  • 4 8 years in SRE Production Engineering or Systems Engineering
  • Hands on experience fixing (not just reporting) production issues
  • Recent experience debugging memory leaks in production
  • Experience operating large scale systems (1k RPS)
  • Strong background from high traffic or complex systems environments

Technical Requirements

Languages

  • C and Rust (required)
  • Python (required)

Infrastructure / Systems

  • PostgreSQL
  • Redis
  • Kubernetes
  • Observability: Prometheus / Grafana

Core Skills

  • Memory profiling and leak debugging
  • Performance profiling benchmarking
  • Root cause analysis at the system level
