Job Title: Customer Service Specialist
Location: Sugar Land TX 77478
Duration: 7 months (possible extension)
Pay Rate: $20.68/hour on W2
Shift: M-F 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Job Summary:
The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for managing customer orders including order entry and shipment scheduling. This role ensures timely coordination between manufacturing and customers while maintaining high service standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders and manage order entry efficiently
- Coordinate shipments between manufacturing and customers
- Collaborate with internal teams such as credit & collections sales shipping and purchasing
- Track delivery schedules and communicate updates delays or issues to customers and sales teams
- Review and resolve conflicting terms in purchase orders
- Support continuous improvement using established systems and tools
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in English

- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Document creation and file management
- Administrative and clerical skills

- Strong communication skills (assertive and clear)
