Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
FinOps Leadership & Cloud Cost Optimization
Lead FinOps delivery across client engagements ensuring continuous cost optimization and governance.
Identify track and drive FinOps savings to deliver tangible client benefits.
Develop and implement cloud cost visibility reporting budgeting and forecasting practices.
Client Engagement & Governance
Manage client visits QBRs governance meetings and executive reviews.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients on cloud financial management and operational efficiency.
Present optimization insights savings reports and architectural recommendations in a clear businessaligned manner.
Cloud Operations & Architecture Alignment
Partner closely with Cloud Operations and Architecture teams to ensure cost optimization aligns with platform strategy and cloud roadmaps.
Translate FinOps insights into executable infrastructure and application improvement actions.
Evaluate cloud architecture for cost implications scalability performance and operational efficiency.
RFPs Solutioning & New Deal Support
Contribute significantly to RFP responses proposals and presales discussions.
Support new deal solutioning including cloud cost models sizing estimates and optimization strategies.
Provide domain expertise to improve deal competitiveness and win rates.
Collaboration with Hyperscaler Offering Leads
Work closely with Azure and AWS offering leads on solution alignment funding programs architecture best practices and gotomarket initiatives.
Leverage hyperscaler tools and partner benefits to enhance client outcomes and delivery efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
712 years of experience in Cloud Engineering FinOps Cloud Operations or Cloud Architecture.
Strong understanding of FinOps principles cloud cost governance allocation models and optimization methodologies.
Experience with AWS Azure or multicloud environments and associated costmanagement tools.
Proven experience in clientfacing delivery roles conducting governance discussions and managing executive expectations.
Handson understanding of cloud infrastructure (compute storage network) architectural patterns and cloud-native operations.
Experience supporting RFPs solutioning and presales engagements.
Excellent communication stakeholder management and presentation skills.
Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Cloud Ops Architecture and hyperscaler partner teams.
Preferred Qualifications
FinOps Certified Practitioner or Professional
Azure or AWS Cloud Certifications
Experience in multicloud cost management platforms (CloudHealth Cloudability Azure Cost Management AWS Cost Explorer etc.)
Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
