Location: Flushing NY
Shift: Day Shift 5x7.5 Hours (9:00 AM 5:00 PM)

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) to perform high-quality echocardiographic studies in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have strong pediatric experience and the ability to work independently while ensuring accurate diagnostics and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pediatric echocardiograms using standard imaging protocols
- Operate echocardiography equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues escalating when necessary
- Recognize patient conditions requiring clinical intervention and notify appropriate medical staff (MD/RN)
- Ensure proper patient preparation and positioning for procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Assist with general clerical and administrative tasks as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnosis and treatment
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Echocardiography Training Program
- Certification in Echocardiography (CCI or ARDMS Echo)
- Minimum 2 years of experience including strong pediatric echocardiography experience (required)
- Knowledge of echocardiography equipment procedures and supplies
- Basic clerical and documentation skills
- Ability to identify and respond to patient and equipment-related issues
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in hospital or pediatric specialty settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
