Job Summary

Assist in the execution and preparation of laboratory activities through the development of tests control testing preparation of chemical solutions weighing inspection of materials preparation of equipment and visual observation. Ensure the standards goals contents and quality control analysis. Fill specific reports and food system with the information of the results of analyses performed by keeping the history of all processes.

As part of its ongoing growth IFF Grasse LMR Naturals is looking for a R&D Perfumer Assistant (f/m/d) to join its teams.

Where Youll Make a Difference

Support the R&D perfumer throughout all stages of olfactory development from formula preparation to client project followup.

Creative Support and Project Followup

  • Weigh formulas and carry out modifications and adjustments under the supervision of the R&D perfumer
  • Ensure the reproducibility and reliability of olfactory trials
  • Prepare samples for internal and client testing
  • Organize and document trials (benchmarks evaluations comparative tests)
  • Maintain and update databases related to formulas trials and olfactory references
  • Organize evaluation sessions and panels required for ingredient development
  • Actively contribute to the preparation of client presentations

Raw Materials Management

  • Monitor raw material availability and maintain laboratory stock through appropriate sourcing
  • Ensure the quality of ingredients used (analytical data olfactory assessment shelf life) and guarantee full traceability

How Would You Stand Out

  • Initial experience in a fragrance laboratory preferred
  • Comfort with digital tools (e.g. Excel SAP)
  • Proficiency in English
