We are looking for an experienced Architect Designer to support vehicle development by ensuring the technical convergence of one or more vehicle zones with a strong focus on base architecture and vehicle silhouette.
The role involves defining and validating architectural solutions supporting prototype development and ensuring alignment between design intent engineering constraints and industrial feasibility. The successful candidate will play a key role in early-stage vehicle development contributing to concept definition and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure technical convergence of one or more vehicle zones
- Define and propose architectural layouts and vehicle integration concepts
- Lead and support mule (prototype) build activities and validation processes
- Monitor and follow up on prototype development and realization
- Contribute to Body-in-White (BIW) design and integration
- Apply advanced knowledge of vehicle equipment and systems in architectural decisions
- Ensure consistency between design engineering and manufacturing constraints
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment throughout development phases
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in vehicle architecture concept design or integration engineering
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of vehicle architecture (base structure and silhouette)
- Experience with Body-in-White (BIW) design and integration
- Understanding of prototype (mule) development and validation processes
- Advanced knowledge of vehicle systems and equipment integration
- Proficiency in CATIA V6 and PLM tools
- Familiarity with automotive development processes and lifecycle
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and international environment
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage complexity in early-stage development
Languages
- English not required (as per project specification)
- Additional languages are a plus
Other
- Strong technical mindset with focus on feasibility and innovation
