Job Summary
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the companys accounting operations ensuring accurate books maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements and managing the accounting team.
- Assign task review work and support professional development of the accounting team.
- Manage and supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll accounting
- Monitor cash flow and support financial planning activities.
- Review and approve accounting entries reconciliations and financial transactions.
- Complete accounting reports lead the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper financial reporting and cost allocation.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and legal requirements.
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong Knowledge of Accounting Standards IFRS GAAP.
Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
Leadership and team management.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent command of English.
Must be Omani Resident / Omani National.
Experience with the ERP system is a must.
Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations.
EDUCATIONAL LEVEL
- Bachelors degree in accounting / finance.
- 7 to 10 years
