We are looking for 2 talented analytical and energetic Junior Accountants to join our team in New Delhi. DO YOU BREAK THE MOULD

As a Junior Accountant you will become part of our Operations Team which is responsible for administrative and operational tasks and acts as the backbone for our international team of consultants. You will become an integral part of our finance team tasked with bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities. Your role will involve continuous monitoring of income and expenses and generally contributing to the financial operation of several complex financial structures. Thus the position requires that you have a strong ability to keep an overview and a sharp eye for detail.

You will report directly to the Finance Associate but will also work hand in hand with our Finance Associates our CFO and the HR & Operations team. This offers you the opportunity to take on great responsibility and manage work streams independently. Therefore we expect you to bring a high level of motivation and enthusiasm to the role and be able to work independently on a number of tasks. We highly value candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit and a self-starter attitude.

This is a full-time position based out of New Delhi and a hybrid working model will be offered work from home and in the New Delhi office. The salary will be determined based on your qualifications and experience.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Support daily bookkeeping and basic accounting entries
  • Record invoices payments and receipts; maintain organized finance records and documentation
  • Support month-end closing activities
  • Assist in tracking payables and receivables
  • Process and record internal reimbursements and expense claims
  • Assist with bank and ledger reconciliations
  • Assist with bookkeeping in India as well as abroad
  • Assist with routine finance processes and documentation

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Completed Bachelor of Commerce is required
  • 1-3 years of work experience in an organization working in a finance or accounting role
  • Hands-on experience with Tally Prime and Excel (1-3 years experience)
  • Knowledge of GST TDS and basic statutory compliance
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes
  • Willingness to learn and support finance operations
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required
  • Working knowledge of Visma economic is advantageous
  • Knowledge of international accounting is advantageous
