What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures access control protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Screen visitors staff and/or deliveries entering the location by following prescribed inspection processes and reporting prohibited items or unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through appropriate channels and documenting security-related events.
- Verify identification maintain visitor logs and help to deter unauthorized access while following post orders and established location policies.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas entry points and surrounding grounds as assigned noting conditions that may require security-related attention.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Guard card is required.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
