Job Summary

AVAILABLE PROGRAM POSITIONS:
DAY SUPPORT/CE $15/Hour: 7am - 7pm; / Mon-Fri & Every other weekend
Typical Day:
- Responsible for assisting with the physical care guidance and supervision of Intellectually Disabled individuals in the Day support Residential setting and Community.
- Performs activities and duties to help individuals develop acceptable habits and attitudes; helps the individuals meet the outcomes of any service or behavioral plan; ensures daily needs and health and safety of the individual are met; assists individuals with daily hygiene and personal living skills; completes data collection in accordance with person centered plan; responds quickly and appropriately to unpredictable behavior and circumstances. Other duties as required. If you are a caregiver this is the position for you.
- Our Community Engagement program gives individuals the opportunity to participate in community activities like training volunteering and other activities to build their independence and social skills
Knowledge & Skills:
Education:
- High school diploma or GED
Experience:
- 2 Years of documented experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities Alzheimers Dementia Special Ed etc.
Other Requirements:
- ACTIVE AND UP TO DATE DRIVERS LICENSE
- Successful completion of criminal history and central registry background investigation
