JOB SUMMARY:

The cage cashier is responsible for protecting company assets adhering to company and departmental policies/procedures to include gaming to and practice customer service handles customer exchanges for chips/cash equivalents for cash cash checks within established procedures exchange foreign currency and all other associated cage customers in establishing credit lines communicate with appropriate personnel concerning customer credit pit fill/credits with ease and cooperates with team members within the department as well as with other be able to execute all cage cashier functions to include but not limited to:

  • Cage Marker issuance/redemption
  • FrontMoneyDeposits/Withdrawals
  • AF/Discounts
  • Title 31
  • R/S ticket redemptions
  • Answer telephones
  • Travelers checks
  • Issue Total Rewards cards
  • Wire transfers
  • Casino Credit Applications
  • Self-Redemption units
  • Chip redemptions
  • Check Cashing
  • Credit Card Cash Advance
  • Coupon redemption
  • Fast Cash redemption
  • Numerous bank accountabilities
  • Foreign currency
  • Foreign chips


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure excellent guest service.
  • Always present oneself as a credit to the department
  • Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to the departmental and company guidelines.
  • Protect company assets.
  • Provide assistance to other departments.
  • Must be able to stand for long extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Must be able to push/pull heavy carts on the casino floor.
  • Must be able to bend reach kneel twist and grip items while working at assigned area.
  • Must have manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment to include but not limited to: 10 key adding machine PC computers fax machine photocopy machine.
  • Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must be able to work in moderate to loud noise conditions

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent with computer experience necessary for data abilities necessary for completion of tasks in timely customer service skills essential in dealing with personnel and customer on well-groomed appearance to ensure and promote positive image.
