Position Details:

Location:Rochester NY

Hours: 11am-7:30pm Mon-Fri

Pay:$19.00/hr

Duration:One year contract position with an opportunity of being temp to hire.

Who Were Looking For:

Candidates with the ability to operate heavy machinery within safety requirements. This person should be reliable and detail oriented.

What to Expect as a Fork Truck Operator:

Position Summary:

Fork Truck/ lift drivers immediately for warehouse at 882 Linden Ave. East Rochester NY on the Penfield border.

Must be On Time person - 100% attendance type person. Must be able to work 40 hours6-2:30

Must have either High School Diploma or GED or 2 years of solid warehouse forklift experience.

Position Responsibilities:

May perform one or more of the following: - various manual activities in an industrial/warehouse environment working under minimal/direct supervision light manufacturing office work picking stock building pallets for shipment ordering storing delivering supplies using hand scanners heavy lifting up to 70 lbs. Need steel toe safety shoes. Must have ability to: Drive fork truck perform repetitive motion comprehend and follow verbal and/or written work instructions and procedures bending/standing/sitting/twisting perform simple math use a basic computer keyboard communicate clearly both verbally and written work shifts including swing and must have knowledge of basic safety requirements. Past work history and references to show good safety record.

Qualifications for Success:

Required Skills & Education:

On Time person - 100% attendance type person.

Must be able to work Monday - Friday. 11AM - 7:30PM start at this time as of 8/14/2025
High School Diploma or GED or 2 years of solid warehouse forklift experience.
Warehouse experience
Fork lift experience
Strong attention to detail
Gets along with others
Must have ability to:
Drive fork truck
perform repetitive motion
comprehend and follow verbal and/or written work instructions and procedures
communicate clearly both verbally and written
bending/standing/sitting/twisting
perform simple math
use a basic computer keyboard
work shifts typically Monday - Friday
and must have knowledge of basic safety requirements.
